It's $1269 CAD for the iMac 27� - Core i3 3.2 Ghz refurb. Is this a good deal?
Also, is resolution independence from OSX Lion going to improve the 27" viewing experience?

I received my ip4 replacement today. It was physically worse than my 10 month old one. Dent on the antennea band as if someone dropped it. Plastic part of bezzle was coming loose from glass. I know some replacements won't be exactly new but I just couldn't except it. Still waiting on a call back from case manager.

Doom III was demonstrated by John Carmack using the ATI9700 and at the time he said that he would only use the best and fastest hardware available to demonstrate it and that the ATI9700 was it and is and was the only card that would play the game properly.

True...but the Best Buy is there as well--that also sweetens the deal. Last year, when the 3G was released, there were only about 20 people in line with me--I think I'll give it another shot. Either way, good luck.
I'm guessing 100-120 in the not too distant future - maybe palisades is a good idea but those lines have to be swelling too.

I love my new eMac. Definitely maximize your memory to one gigabyte and you will be surprised how well it performs.
Also, you should use your student discount and get a free iPod Mini like I did. Does anybody know if you can you still do that? You should ask about that when you purchase. I purchased both my new eMac and my new iBook at the Apple Retail Store where I live and it was a wonderful experience. Everybody was very helpful and they told me about the free iPod Mini deal.
I'm a very happy owner of a new eMac, new iBook and FREE iPod Mini.

I have an iPad 1 and I am really wishing that there was more Ram in it so programs would run smoother and faster. So saw a hack that was suppose work with firmware before 4.2 but I was curious if there was a hack that would allow you to use your flash memory are virtual ram on 4.3.

I heard the iPad 3 will be SO THIN that the thing looks almost transparent. The pictures you take appear to be the image right in front of you. OH and the screen can expand to WATEVER SIZE YOU WANT. Simply move your hands apart to expand the screen size!

Or if you have an Apple Product that still has warranty you could just go online to https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do and fill it out. I have done this a number of times to get USB cables fixed and headphones fixed. They next day you a cable and you ship the old one back no questions asked. Considering I don't have an Apple Store nearby I can't just walk in.

Not sure that many brick and mortar bookstores will have such a book on their shelves. Plus, be careful with your wife - what if she evicts one of your iDevices, this time for real? But you probably know her well, how she reacts to practical jokes, souvenirs, novelties & party tricks.

The bus powered WD drives will transfer about 70MB/s for a sustained transfer of large files vs over 100MB/s for the full-fat powered varieties. Speeds drop a bit for smaller files.
That is for traditional mechanical hard drives. That is what I have achieved under Windows, for what it is worth.
